Philip Yates

A founding partner of the North Somerset based Architectural and Civil Engineering practice Hammonds Yates Ltd. This practice was responsible for securing planning permissions and delivering innovative engineering and architectural solutions on numerous sites throughout the South West for companies including Barratts, Redrow Homes, David Wilson Homes, Persimmon.

Since establishing P Yates Ltd in 2005, he has been responsible for obtaining planning permissions, and delivering high quality homes in Cornwall and Bristol, often on challenging sites.

Will Andrews MRICS

A highly professional Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience within the construction industry. Worked for some of the largest contractors in the UK, has amassed a wealth of experience within a variety of sectors including residential, education, retail, hospitals, commercial, defence buildings, and mixed-use schemes with values up to £100m and frameworks with a value of up to £3.5bn.

During the pre-construction stage of projects has been a leading member of successful teams advising on buildability and budget, ultimately ensuring expectations are delivered.

Working at Director level for a top ten Main Contractor, has been responsible for £200m of annual construction spend. Key strengths include construction commercial knowledge/appraisals, funding, procurement, all with a close eye on delivering quality schemes, on time and in budget.

Chris Yates

An experienced operational professional with over 17 years’ experience in the construction industry. Worked for both main contractors and sub-contractors in many sectors including, residential, infrastructure, retail, and mixed-use schemes with values up to £25m.

A driving force behind land acquisitions, a leader of the construction team, with strong communication skills, manages the supply chain and team to ensure the delivery of quality projects, on time and in budget.

During the construction process, has been a promoter of advising clients on progress, keeping them informed, and managing expectations, all of which are vital components of any successful construction project.
